Travel Teams

On Deck's Approach to Travel Baseball

On Deck offers a comprehensive Travel Program, fielding teams for 8U through 14U. Our philosophy for travel baseball is designed to introduce players to a more competitive playing environment.

In order to prepare our teams for the challenges ahead, each player is required to participate in two weekly practices starting right before Labor Day. Each practice session will focus on getting our players ready for the season. Once the season is under way, each team will play a weekly double-header on the weekend and participate in only the best tournaments. All of our teams will be coached by two professional coaches who will have at least college-level playing experience and be nationally certified by the Positive Coaching Alliance.

While playing baseball is a top priority for our travel teams, we also give our players the opportunity to have fun off the field! We'll have three social events over the course of the season which may include a pizza party, an outing to a professional baseball game, and an end-of-year team dinner/award ceremony.
